Catfish FishingIs not common to target but easy to catch and great for kids to feel something on the end of the line. Most catfish caught are small 1/2 to 2 lbs but put of a great fight on light tackle. Still-fishing is the best bet for channel cats, although they will sometimes take spinners and small plugs. Try a live minnow, drifted beneath a small float. Or try slip-sinkers and bottom fishing.
